齐齐哈尔医学院外语部由原英语教研室和日俄教研室组建而成，历经26年的建设，在2008年5月成为学院直属处级教学单位。现设有教研室4个，语言实验中心1个，图书资料室1个。

QMU Foreign Language Department originated from the English Teaching and Researching Office and Japan-Russia Teaching and Researching Office. With nearly 30 years of development and construction, it has become a directly affiliated division of the university. Up to now, the department has set up 4 teaching and researching offices, one language experimental center and one reference center of teaching materials.

齐齐哈尔医学院外语部拥有一支知识、年龄和职称结构比较合理，素质优良，治学严谨的专业队伍。目前全部共有教职工34人，其中专业教师29人，干部及管理人员2人；中高级职称15人；具有硕士以上学位6人，在读在职硕士5人。外语部承当全院所有本科、专科、成人学历和非学历教育的外语教学任务，每年完成大量的教学任务。近年来，发表论文49篇，自编教材19部。承担省市级教科研立项12项。

QMU Foreign Language Department owns an excellent faculty with reasonable professional construction, specialized quality and diligent teaching style. The Foreign Language Department consists of 34 members with 2 teaching administrators, 15 professional experts, 6 teachers with the master degree and 5 teachers studying for the master degree. The Foreign Language Department is undertaking all the foreign language teaching task of the university at different educational levels. In recent years, the staff of the department has published 49 research papers, compiled 19 volumes of books and proceeding 13 teaching and researching projects at municipal or provincial level.

外语部语言实验中心目前拥有六个语音实验室，其中两个为计算机网络多媒体语言实验室，共有座位312个，能满足全院学生外语视听说课的需要，并为我部开展教学、科研提供重要的保证。

The language experimental center of Foreign Language Department has six language labs including 2 multi-media network language experimental rooms and provides 312 studying seats to meet the demands of the university’s teaching and scientific research.

齐齐哈尔医学院外语部全体教职员工在学院的领导和关怀下，紧紧围绕提高我院英语教学质量这个关键问题，深入开展教学改革，不断转变教育思想，更新教育理念。改善教学条件和教学方法，着力加强培养学生英语综合素质和应用能力，正为提高我院学生英语水平而同心同德，努力奋斗。

“Uniting as One and Struggling Hard to Improve Students’English Level”. QMU Foreign Language Department is launching the teaching reform, innovating the educational notion, upgrading the educational idea, improving the teaching conditions and methods, putting forth effort to strengthen English level of QMU students under the leadership and concernment of the School Board.
